Retired Union Police Lieutenant Dilginis Passes Away - TAPinto.net

Dilginis passed away on Monday, Nov. 5.According to a social media post from the Union Police Department, Dilginis, 61, spent his career with the Union Police, but “above all else he was a loving husband and father.  Everyone knew him as a family man who truly was a good person, selfless, and caring with a great sense of humor.”"While I didn't personally know Lt. Dilginis well, because he retired shortly after I was hired here, the women and men of the UPD always spoke very highly of him," said Union Police Director Daniel Zieser. He is survived by his son Zachary McCollum, his parents Walter B. and Josephine Cheeseman McCollum, his brothers; Mr. and Mrs. Walter John McCollum and Mark A. McCollum, as well as many aunts, uncles, niece and cousins.
